You never know
where you might end up next
never know whether or not
today will be your best.
It's an ongoing thing
of never knowing for sure
how this decision will change your life
or change who you thought you were.
We all make mistakes
that's just the way life goes
& we all have to stand tall & proud
no matter what life throws.
Everyonhe falls in love at some point
but not every love lasts
& so we all move on,
let our hearts heal, & put it in the past.
Life's a neverending state
of being completly unsure about everything;
of gathering up the courage
to stand up & finally sing.

This Is Life
Smile
Just breathe
You can do this
Don't leave
Sit Down
Close your eyes
You can do this
Don't cry
Remember
Life was good
You can do this
You knew you would

Look into my eyes
What do you see?
Can you see the little girl
waiting to be free?
I started growing up too fast
& she got lost somewhere inside;
When she disappeared
an important part of me died.
She needs to be set free
so she can finally live.
She needs to know she's special
& that she has something to give.
Not many know she's there
waiting to be free.
But one day someone will save her
it'll happen, just wait & see.
She's not insecure
She just needs a little nudge.
Then she can stand proud;
stand tall and not budge.

I Just Wanted To Tell You. . .
I want you to know you're beautiful
no matter what anyone says
& I understand why you've done this
starve yourself day after day.
It's hard to be yourself
in a world that shows no mercy
it's hard being a size seven,
when they want you in size three.
you've never been over weight
but the world says you are.
so pound by puond you lose yourself,
no longer knowing who you are.
They told you 110 is far to high
& that you have to be thin.
But belive me when I tell you
at 68 you cannot win.
Remember you're beautiful
no matter what you're told
& I know you'll find the truth
& the courage to be bold.
