Wednesday 5th Novemember was the Grand Opening of the new Government Center of the City of Tagbilaran. Festivites included balloons from the ceiling, dancing, gallons of tuba (coconut wine) and kareoke all afternoon. Not to mention ending up buying "lady drinks" for female companions at a kareoke bar and being encourage to pay for the private kareoke rooms "upstairs".... all in all a great day. Novemember 14th marked the leaving of Fiona who is headed back to Oz to start a new life in Queensland - good luck mate - thanks for all your help and making us feel so welcome. |
