Rosco’s birthday and Karen’s farewell
We all went down to Alona beach to celebrate my little bro turning 24. We ended up at the Flying Fish Bar where Rosco got up and performed the “Otso Otso” - the favourite dance move here at the moment (and has been for the last 6 months) difficult manouvere with your hands on your knees and arching your back up and down! Ross seemed to pick it up quite well considering he had only been in the country for a week!! Mark tried to do one better and get up and sing the other favourite here – “where is the love” – beautifully done I might add…. cough cough…!! It was also Karens last weekend in Bohol – she headed back to Kiwiland to continue the write up of her phD – we miss you Karen! (happy bday for the 12th Jan!)
We started the night by playing pool at the Safety Stop bar... offerings to the whale god for a good dive! Rosco giving his dinner a drink before the last rights... mmm... beer...
The gang at the Flying fish bar!
Getting ready for the stage??
Go the 'Otso Otso' brudda!!
"where is the love?"
self portrait.... is it getting late?
Mark, Rosco and I with our dive guide, Al - just after we dived with a whale shark... the best dive ever (and the first together for the three of us!!)
