With Marvel vs. Capcom 3 coming for PS2 I figures it's time I reviewed the best game in my entire video game library. Marvel vs. Capcom 2 features the most characters I have ever seen in a 2D side scrolling fighting game. Playing Marvel greats like Rogue, Spider-Man, and Cable along-side Capcom Legends like Mega Man, Ryu, and Korrigan. There are 50+ characters and you get to select a team of 3 to take on an opposing team of 3.

The beauty part is that all the characters from all the marvel based fighting games are here along with a few new faces. Same with Capcom characters. While the previous MVC game was dominated mainly by Street Fighter characters this new game has quite a few new faces from other Capcom classics. It has plenty of unlockable characters, stages, and character color variations. When you unlock everything then you unlock a new game mode that... well... makes the game especially fun.

The game controls suprisingly easy. It offers both D-pad and Analog control for those who just do not know what to use.

So if you have a Dreamcast go buy Marvel vs. Capcom 2. You won't regret it.
