| For those of you who have never heard me give a bad review, I'm about to. When they finally made a video game based on the two greatest movies of all time (Evil Dead 2: Dead by Dawn, and Army of Darkness) I thought Fantastic, it's about time! When Bruce Campbell, Ash from the two movies got involved I thought, evebn Better. Bruce Campbell is the Ultimate Hero. Even better than Stallone and Ahnold whats-his-name (Schwartzeneggar I can spell it). Then they made a fantastic commercial for the game, Hilarious. So I of course went out and bought it. I was dissappointed. The effects were great, for Ash. However when it came to the bad guys they weren't as great. Deadites would spring up from the ground and dive back in. They would be impossible to kill with a gun (which they offer 3 of) so of course luckily you have the trademark Chainsaw and an Axe. The bad guys would be stunning but some are almost transparent and hard to see and the rest move so fast that you can't apprieciate them while they convulse from being whacked at with an Axe. The Controls for the game suck. It's un-alterably set on camera relative movement. Which makes Ash hard to control. They offer both Analog control and D-pad control but the character moves so crapily that it barely makes a difference. This game is sad, with a little more time and effort this game could have been the best ever but... alas... that just isn't the case. |
