Someone once told me

Dont tell me you love me if you are not sincere,
For a lie so strong can ruin my life and bring on a new fear.
Fear to be loved, fear to love ever again,
It can cause my fragile heart to break, tear, and bend.
Think of all in life that will be missed because of one small broken promise so,
When i put all of my trust deep within you Please dont tell me you love me, unless you truly do.

If i Told You

If i told you i loved you,
would you push me away? Or,
would you let me fall into your arms,
where, forever, I would stay?

If I told you I needed you,
would you feel the same?
Could you let me need your everyday,
forever and eternity?

If I told you I hated you,
would you believe the words I say?
would you turn your back on me
and leave me alone to pray?

If I told you I was crying,
would you be right by my side?
to put your arms around my shoulders,
until the feelings pass me by?

If I told you everything,
would you still feel the same?
Now that you know exactly who i am,
would you still be mines to claim?

To Be With You



		Someone once told me that dreams are a lie, that rainbows dissolve and all flowers die; that even a mountain must crumble and fall, and the things we believe in aren't real at all. Someone once told me that stars don't exist, and wishing and hoping would all be dismissed. They told me that love was only for fools, and life is about regulations and rules. Someone once told me a heart is a token, and it hasn't loved until it's been broken. They told me that dreams only last for so long, and that singing's not singing if you don't know the song. (But I grew up and learned that dreaming IS real.) And that rainbows are here when I am, yet, gone, and a flower may die, but its beauty lives on. I learned that the stars are a little like dreams, and wishing and hoping are more than they seem. I learned that true love is the foundation of life, and that life is about overcoming our strife. I learned that a heart is more than a token, and all hearts can love though they many not be broken. I learned that singing is singing if your heart sings along, and what someone once told me... has been all proven wrong.

The wish that won't come true, The song that won't be sung, The words that won't be spokenover, before we've begun. The feelings we can't express, The laughs we can't share, The facts i can't tell you Hust how much i care. Your lips, i'll never kiss, Your warmth, i'll never know, Holding you close, holding you tight And never letting go. Saying, "good morning," as you wake, Watching you in a peaceful sleep, The way i feel, the love i have, But it's all just a secret i keep. Your beautiful eyes, the glances exchanged, The silence or talking all night, Our shared love of music or an old flick, How you and me feel so 'right.' Sitting beside you longing for your touch, Or missing you more everyday. Spewing my words like a raging volcano, 'Til i no longer know what to say.



	A little girl has tears to cry, So deep down inside she begins to die, Sheï¿½s screaming for help but no one can hear, Her heart has been broken beyond repair, Her soul has been shattered like a broken glass, Her mind tries constantly to forget the past, Her body is weak because it is empty inside, She cries out in panic as all her life dies, Her friends no longer exist in her mind, That vision on hope she has lost and cannot find, All she needs is a hand to hold, But her life is nothing, nothing but cold.

			Sometimes I wonder Why I even feel this way I just want you to be mine I'd wait forever for that day You think I may be shy And I know it's true I would change my ways Just to be with you Whenever you walk by I fall into a trance All that I ask for Is just one chance I like you so much Believe me, I do I just wish that one day You would feel the same too If only you liked me, If only you cared I would ask you out But that I would not dare.
