| 7/16/01 Well freakers it's Monday and I'm not chopped up into little bits, so that must mean Friday night was unadventful for me. That's right, I drove up to Crystal Lake, located in the San Gabriel Mountains, Friday night to see if anything strange or freaky would happen. I had Video camera ready and even my didgital camera ready for anything to happen. So I'm sitting outside my car listening to my copy of the Freak_O_Pedia cd listen and looking for anything strange. I mean what happened to the days that teens would goto places like that and find unsupecting people to scare. Is it cause everyone has guns now days or what. But after an uneventful evening I went home and drank several wine coolers and watched some scary movies. The rest of my weekend revolved around cleaning the house and investagation for new stories on the web and placing phone calls in hopes to get confermation on stories found. I try and get as much facts as I can when it comes to stories I find if possible. As I get more into things the more I need the feel to gring you bigger and better stories. So I'm currently looking into a story of strange lights and noises coming from an old barn and another on a supposed mirrow which displays the image of a ghost. Currently I'm waiting on if I get call backs from people to get the proper locates and the rights to interview and film people about these stories. Now I've in the past made mention of a story of these cabins up in the woods with a supposed mystery around them. I've contacted one person about this so far who has set me up with a guide to these mystious cabins. The only reason I haven't gone yet is cause the guide wants $200 for his services. Currently I don't have that kind of extra money so it's going to have to wait till it does. It's sometimes unfortunate that the world revolves around the all mighty dollar, but it does kiddies. It wouldn't I guess be all that bad if I was loaded with a bank account that had a set of 9 zeros behind it or more. However I'm a working stiff with a normal job through out the week and a wonderful family to support. But my dedication to you freakers and the site is there and when extra money and time becomes available I'm on the hunt for the freaky and unusual. So freaks there's the skinny of it.... oh my did I just "there's the skinny"? The world must be coming to and end..hehehe. Anyway that's it for me. See you all on the flipside.
