"YEEESSSSSSSSS!!!!"
Barbara ran into the living room where Ringo was.
"What's going on?" she asked looking concered.
Richie looked round. "Sorry love! We've just scored again!"
Barbara looked at him like a mother looks at her child when she is scolding them. "Well behave and keep the noise down! Jason arrived from England this morning and he's fast on"
"Sorry Mum" said Ringo looking at her with his puppy dog eyes. Barbara just laughed and went back into the other room. Ringo turned back to the large screen just to see Paul go out to the middle of the pitch. ( Ed - Is it called a pitch?) He sighed remembering the last time that they had seen each other. It was on the day (or night) of George's death. They had both fallen into each others arms sobbing. They had a good chat that night talking about life and death and who they thought would be the next to go. He laughed as he remembered that they had talked about the fact that Paul was already dead owing to the fact that they had all 'killed' him on the Abbey Road album cover. In fact thinking about it he was the only one who hadn't actually died.
Ringo was jolted back to reality and his daydreams from a song on the TV. It ws Paul singing George's song 'All Things Must Pass'. As he sat there listening he realised that he had tears rolling down his cheeks. "Damn Paul" he muttered and wondered into the kitchen where Barbara was.
"What's wrong Richie love?" she asked
Ringo went up to hug her. "Just promise me you won't die" he whispered.
Barbara hugged him back knowing that the loss of Geogre was still raw for him.
"I promise Richie I won't and you can't die either ok?"
Ringo smiled at her happily and they just stood there in each other arms.
