From the kitchen of Frank and Tricia Grier
2 pkgs. Ramen Noodles (any flavor…I use the Creamy
Chicken flavor)
1 sm. pkg. pine nuts or shelled sunflower seeds
1 pkg. broccoli coleslaw (in the bag salad section
of produce)
1 pkg. slivered almonds
1 bunch green onions (I only used 3 green onions
chopped)
1 c. oil
¾ c. sugar
¾ c. apple cider vinegar
Seasoning pkgs. from Ramen Noodles
Combine coleslaw, pine nuts/sunflower seeds, almonds
and onions in large bowl. (I used ½ pkg.
of pine nuts and ½ pkg. of sunflower seeds because I like both of them in
mine.) Set aside.
Mix together the oil, sugar, vinegar and seasoning
packets. (This makes more dressing than
needed. I only used a little over half
of it.) Add to the coleslaw mixture.
Crumble noodles and mix them in at the last
minute. (You can mix the noodles in with
everything else, but I like them a little crunchy; so I waited until an hour or
so before serving to add them.)
