July 6, 7, 8, & 9 of 2006
Elliston, MT    Lions Sunshine Camp
Thursday July 6 - We will see that the camp is open by 12:00 and then the set up will take the rest of the day. Thursday night will be the DO IT YOURSELF NIGHT. Last year we used the big bargeque outside the large hall and everyone cooked whatever they wanted and it was big enough to that we could have hamburgers, chicken, fish, or steaks. Those who want to do this are welcome to do it again this year.
Friday July 7 - Breakfast Managers will be needed so if you wish to volunteer let Clayton know. Golf will be at the Fox Ridge Golf Course at whatever times are available and we need a volunteer to be in charge of that meal or we can again be on our own and do whatever we want. It will be your choice and please let Clayton know what you want to do. If you want his phone number you can email me at [email protected] (however [email protected] still works)  and ask for it.
Saturday July 8 - The Reunion Fund will be responsible for breakfast and we will have a light one. Pictures will be taken between 11:30 and 12:00 (like we are ever on time) with a potluck lunch to follow. After lunch there will be a family meeting to make sure of the next year's dates and any other items to be discussed. If you have a matter that you feel needs to be discussed as a family that is the time to bring it up.
For those that are planning to stay overnight the fee for adults is only $5.00 and $4.00 per child per night. The people that come for the day do not have to pay anything. We would however like to see collection/donation to help off set the rising cost of propane and electricity.
The camping facility has 6 cabins with bunk beds in each. These however are a first come first serve basis. There are showers, toilets like at home, full kitchen like you have at home st that nobody will have to catch, tackle, or chase their dinner. This is a very special place to have a reunion and we are very fortunate.
If we are to have a white elephant sale and a silent auction this year, we need someone to take over this responsibility and get in touch with Vicki Veltkamp and/or Terry McAnnaly and find out what is needed.
In the previous years we had many dogs running around the camp. We have been asked to confine them to an area away for the eating areas and to use pooper scooper method of keeping the campground clean for the next people who come to use the campground. If we cannot do this we may be asked not to bring them at all. I would not like to see our four footed friends barred from the campground, but I do understand the need to take measures to keep the camp clean for the next campers.
Sunday July 9 - Breakfast will be continental wish is rolls and juice and fruit for those of us who haven't been to the continental breakfast. There will be closing services that will be handles by Jeff Jackson and Bob Jackson. If anyone would like to participate in this with music or a shor message, please get in touch with Jeff. I have his phone number if you would like to contact him so please email me if you want it at [email protected].

Clean Up!!!!!
We will need to finish clean up as early as possible as the camp closes at noon. We will need a garbage disposal crew as well as a cleaning crew. If you slept in a cabin you will need to clean that cabin. The cleaning crew and all will be decided at camp as we don't know yet who is coming.

Each night there will be a campfire and anyone who would like to play an instrument or tell stories is welcome to join us. This is a good time to do it. If you have any questions or want to volunteer for anything please contact Clayton Martin or Alissa Frazer.

Alissa can be reached at [email protected], [email protected] or by phone at (765)490-6455. That is a verison phone so please call me.
