Rahima makes it two in a row
Rahima once again proved to be a formidable opponent by defeating Abqaiq for the second time around at the Al-Farah Cricket ground. Abqaiq batted first and posted 200 runs off 30 overs. Shariq Khalid top scored with 37 runs. Junaid (Rahima captain) picked up five wickets, including three in one over. Rahima reached the target with two overs to spare with the help of "hired hands" Mudassar, Haziq, and man-of-the-match Zohaib. [Scorecard]

Abqaiq wins the series in a dominating fashion
Abqaiq bounced back from their defeat against Rahima last December to come back and win in a thrilling game. Rahima won the toss and elected to bat first. They made 183 off 30 overs. Tauseef, Saif, Ammad, Shoaib, and Asad picked up a wicket-a-piece, while Danish picked up three including one where he bowled the batsmen behind his legs. Abqaiq chased the Rahima total with ease, powered by half centuries from the opening pair Asad (67*) and Shariq (60). They ended up winning the match by 8 wickets. [Scorecard]

Pind Series '97-'01

Pind Series Overview
The Pind Series was a bunch of matches that were played over a span of 4 years between the Abqaiq Punishers and the "Paindus" of Abqaiq. Many of the players on the current team roster made their debut in this series. Although the matches were always close, in the end the Punishers had the upper hand and claimed victory. Sadly, these series of matches ended once many of the "Paindus" left Abqaiq.
