This activity is mainly for the guys and usually occurs on a second floor of a house. The pledge is brought upstairs one at a time and told to stand next to a window. The pledge is then shown how high up he is from the ground. Now if the pledges have made pledges bricks or rocks, they will have been told to bring it with them. At this point, one of the brothers will tie a string around the brick or stone. The pledge is then told to tie the other end of the string to his "you know what". When this is done, the pledge will be asked if he trusts the brothers. When a "yes" reply is received the brick is then tossed out of the window with the other end still tied to the pledges "you know what". A little scary for the pledge, don't you think.
Well, of course the string is just long enough to hit the ground without pulling anything else out the window with it. |
