What a journey it has been
Outside World

When I stopped questioning His ways, that's when I realized I am no longer the same. I am completely a new person, linked with a past but geared towards a future, whatever future I no longer try to fathom. All I know is that there's no better time to feel alive than today, when one's life is full of opportunities waiting to be discovered, when one is faced with decisions to choose from, when one gets confused, enlightened, scared, confident, when a blush or a smile becomes a picture of delight. A time for growth. I've always felt awed a new discovery.

Five years ago, a modern ideas of a young man trying to cope with innumerable changes in his environment, decided to pursue a career in the field of engineering. He did not quite think he do it but he did it, anyway and the long journey of tribulations, refreshing new premises on struggling for life, endless challenges and unexpected responsibilities began to pass by in immortal thoughts.

He can imagine how stirring it must have been when time element has become an important factor in these crucial years. He was cognizant on how time flies. Little did he know that the very next day, in a wink of an eye, he would get different indications of this challenging world.

If you'd notice, I'm fond of giving inspirational messages. Now,I'd like to take this opportunity to do the same thing to my batchmates.

We will be entering a new chapter in our lives embracing upon a course that's embarking various experiences. Expect everyday to tell a different tale. You've several options in the outside world and be wiser to take on the right track. Success and/or failure in the future will depend on the person's ability to create a new and better world.

Exhibit determination and courage with regard to situations that urgenty need it. Strive harder to achieve your goals in life. No matter what will occur in the days to come, remember that self-confidence is the rocket fuel ot your success.

To my fellow Engineers, CONGRATULATIONS and GOOD LUCK on your future endeavors in life. As we continue onward with our professional careers, possibly, we can make our dreams a reality in the next few years.

STRUGGLE

It had not been easy at first, leaving the school I've enjoyed being with. But I had to even if I didn't want to. Transferring to from one school to the other spelled S_A_C_R_I_F_I_C_E. First, I had to conquer the never ending traffic. (Whew! You'd sure get a free supply of powder in the form of "alikabok." With it comes a bonus- there's the "usok" both from the vehicles and smoking public.

The worrst thing I thought I coudn't handle was the fact that I'm going to be alone for most of the time. It meant less gimmicks with the barkada, going to the library all by myself, eating and walking along with no one to talk to.

The changes changed me. I realized it wasn't too bad at all. My sense of self-dependence developed, and a littlemore patience spiced up my Engineering life. Although I miss my close friends, I had to go on with my life. Thank God I survived.
