Clicking on something is symbolic of choosing something in real life. When someone decides to "choose" the path of being drunk they choose the path of being cool. Why? Because it suggests and open mindness to new things - an ability to "cut loose", relax, and socialize while not being bound by fear. Note that you don't actually have to click (or drink) to get this status, simply by putting your cursor over the option(or considering the posibillity) you achieve this status, in other words "cool"
