I�aki Totorika Vega, basque regional policeman was killed in a car bomb attack. The remote control bomb exploded as the two policemen approached. Picure.
Thursday 22th February
A car bomb killed two people (Jos� Angel Santos Larra�aga and Josu Leon�s Alkona) and wounded four others in the northern city of San Sebastian. A local PSOE councillor, the target of the attack, was injured, as was his bodyguard.
Friday, 26th January 2001.
Ramon Diaz Garcia, a cook at the navy headquarters in the Basque city of San Sebastian, was killed in a car bomb explosion. He was married with two children.
Wednesday, 20th December 2000.
Miguel Angel Gervilla Valladolid, policeman in Barcelona, murdered when he was trying to help two people in car.
Thursday, 14th December 2000.

Ernest Lluch, rest in peace (murdered by ETA on November the 22th)

He was Health Minister from 1982 to 1986. He was also Menendez Pelayo University rector (in Santander) and lecturer in Catalunya and Basque Country, as well as writer and journalist. He loved Basque Country (his second land, after Catalunya) and he was trying to find a solution to Basque problem. Unfortunately, he negotiated with the wrong people. Again, words against guns.
