I The Tao that one tries to grasp is not Tao itself; the name one wants to give it is not its appropriate name. Without a name, it represents the origin of the universe; with a name, it constitutes the Mother of all beings. Through non-being, let's grasp its secret; through being, let's reach its access. Non-being and Being coming from one sole root are differentiated by their names only. This one sole root is called Darkness. To darken this Darkness, that's the door to any wonder. |
