COURSE OUTLINE

This is a three part lecture/practical class on getting members started in Photoshop. The course will be run on three consecutive weeks and be conducted twice during the year.
The basic aims of this course will be to establish the most appropriate Photoshop preference settings for your workflow, to gain a working knowledge of Bridge, to rank, name and manage your files and to introduce members to the very powerful global image adjustment tools within Adobe Camera RAW.

The course is structured such that each session depends on the session that has gone before so members are asked to enroll in the course only if they are likely to be able to attend all three. Once enrolled missed sessions may be picked up by private arrangement with Peter Dwyer who will be conducting the course. Also, as this is a practical course it is a requirement that those attending bring a computer to enable participation in the supervised image editing exercises. The course also assumes that participants will have a legal version of Photoshop CS3 mounted on their laptops.

There will be a limited intake of ten members for this course. Members who want to take this introductory program but are unable to bring a computer to the course should call Peter Dwyer to see what other arrangements can be made.
