It's not even close to Planet Hollywood, but it'll do.

Welcome to my page about me.

That's me

Once upon a time, I had the idea that I was going to fill this page with all sorts of really cool things that could be found only on the web. Unfortunately, those ideas aren't quite as cool as I thought they were back in 1995 when I started this little exercise in self-indulgence.

As a matter of fact, I forget most of them.

So I found myself relying on the same, boring ideas about personal web page content that have become as ubiquitous as wristwatches just to fill this page with something. This was the result. Maybe originality is overrated.

Getting back to the topic

I'm married to the very lovely Erin. We got married at the Zukas Hilltop Barn in the fall of 2000 and now live in beautiful Derry, NH.

I have a degree in Geography, specifically cartography (points to you if you knew what that means). For the past few years, I've been earning a living as a software developer in the Boston area.

Like most techies, my hobbies are eclectic. I enjoy sports (football and softball), hiking, computer games, home improvement, and I'm discovering snowboarding. I also enjoy music (listening and playing), although I have far less time to do so now than I used to.

In addition to doing those things, I also really like to spend time with my friends and family. I have two younger brothers, Greg (the politician) and Andrew (still in college). My dad retired to Maine a few years ago and taken to raising goats, chickens, cats, and a large dog.

Most of my friends I met while I was in college. I met Dave day one of college and we've been great friends ever since. Gannon, Mike & Leila arrived on the scene during my sophomore year and Gregg when I was a junior. Mark Perneta I met through NERO and he introduced me to Chris. Joe was dating a girl in a band I was catching regularly. He and the girl (as well as the band she was in) have broken up, but he and I still hang out awesome guy.

Old Favorites

For the occassional web surfer who used to come visit my site, I didn't throw away all of the old stuff that I used to have on my web sites. I've still got most of it (I think). Some of it's still available too. Such as:
  • The old Planet Frank logo
  • The spinning head
  • The picture that I have of myself, Erin, and several friends that we dredge out about once every two years to torture Gregg with
