MEET FRANK

After being fired from every radio job he has ever held, Frank wound up here
in N.W. Arkansas in late December 2000. The AM X went on the air on January 15, 2001 and
has seen many changes since that day. On September 11, 2001, commercial airliners struck
targets in NYC and Washington D.C. while the AM X was on the air. That day, the AM X stayed
on the air 4 hours longer to report what was happening to those without access to televised
news reports. After that day, listeners began calling into the show because they wanted to
talk about all the things that had happened. This was the origin of the Topic Of The Day,
which has become an open forum for discussion on all issues, local and national.
