SABBATH LETTER 21:

A SABBATH IN PAGES HALL, BAGUIO CITY TEACHERS CAMP

THAT POINTS TO THE FIRST FEAST OF TABERNACLES IN MT.

NEBO, JORDAN

Dear Brethren,

Greetings again from PAGES HALL, Baguio Teachers Camp where I billeted at Rm. 102. It is 2:00 p.m. on the first Sabbath of the month of August, 2004. I know, brethren, that the Living Church of God and most of the Churches of God in Metromanila start their services at this time.

I came in a taxi from Victory Liner and was fortunate to book for 1 room until tomorrow morning at 8:00 a.m. Normally, this would not be possible because the Couples For Christ had booked the facilities – in fact they are conducting a service right now starting about the same time as I do.

Maybe God made it possible because I want this event to become a land mark to foreshadow my keeping of the first Feast of Tabernacles with my family in World Economic Forum near Mt. Nebo, Jordan. To make you understand my enthusiasm, I will refer you to my Sabbath Letter 20, which I was not able to send to FRANKLIN SUBSCRIBERS because I was waiting for this event. Also, I have just finished my website named Franklin1335, which I will publish in one of the most popular internet providers by the time you receive this letter.

My aim, brethren, in keeping my Sabbath Bible Studies here in Pages Hall, Baguio City Teachers Camp (hopefully with the rest of the 1335 Church of God) is to witness to the Churches of God in the Philippines and earthwide, that as they observe their Feast of Tabernacles in the Baguio City Teachers Camp, we, the 1335 Church of God, keeps our FOT in World Economic Forum near Mt. Nebo, Jordan!

Right now, as I write , I am facing the glass window of my room, which is at the back of the Pages Hall. I am writing on a table with my usual informal coat on, and although I cannot see the post near the Administration building because of the maze of pine trees covering it, I know the direction of my sight is right towards that POST. Frankly, I don’t remember if that particular post is still there right now. But I remember it because when we, the original office staff of the Ambassador College Agency, prepared the Baguio Teachers Camp of the Philippines for the 1967 Feast of Tabernacles, we were astonished at the word Melchisedek inscribed at the length of the particular post. Mr. Arthur W. Docken, the first Regional Director of the Work of God in the Philippines, wrote about it in his article of the Good News at that time.

It should be a reminder to all of us , brethren, that when the Church of God chooses the place where to keep the Feast of Tabernacles, God places his name there and the place is holy ground! This is the reason why in Sabbath Letter 16, about the Wailing Wall, I explained Mat.24:15 “stand in the holy place” as God’s command to the 1290 Church of God to flee to the Place of Safety. Because WHERE the 1335 Church of God keeps the Feast of Tabernacles at that time, obviously in the vicinity of World Economic Forum and Mt. Nebo, is a HOLY place!

Let me briefly digress for a moment here because many of our unbelieving members in this Laodicean era of God’s Church today, may point out that the particular verse is referring to the “man of sin” standing in the Holy Place. If you are eager to know the explanation, please read first my Sabbath Letter 16. I’ll just mention here that the Holy Spirit of God, which is also variously called the Testimony of Jesus Christ and the Spirit of Prophecy (or Spirit of understanding) has reserved up to this end time this meaning of Mat. 24:15 as part of the 4^th thunder of Revelation 10, which is Destruction of the Wailing Wall, the 3^rd fulfillment of the Abomination of Desolation. This is the reason why last part of verse 15 of Mat. 24 states, “whoso readeth, let him understand”

Do you think, brethren, that when Jesus Christ told Daniel he cannot understand the prophecy he was told to write, particularly Daniel 11:31, the same principle applies to Matthew and Mark?

Jesus Christ is in control. He motivated Matthew to write “stand” after a comma to denote a command. But with Mark, he caused him to write “standing” after a comma, describing the original prophecy which was fulfilled by Antiochus Epiphanes. Brethren, I do not belabor so much trying to decipher the original translations of the scriptures as majority of bible scholars do and yet not understanding anything. We should rather strive receiving the Holy Spirit of God which comes by obedience, prayer, and fasting.

Reminds me also how Bible scholars and true leaders of God’s churches today belabored and argued endlessly about the question of whether the Passover should be kept on Nissan 14 or 15. They particularly prated and prate about the “even” or “going down of the sun” or phrases to that effect. And yet you don’t really need to discuss those things to understand that when God TEMPORARILY transferred the Passover Night to the Night To Be Much Observed (Deut. 16:4 and first Passover INSIDE the Land of Promise in Gilgal), the Israelites would kill the Passover lambs at the same time the Messiah would be killed.
