| We would like to tell you a little about ourselves. Frankie - born in Johnstown, PA on October 30, 1947. The eldest of 9 children. Served in the United States Army for 3 years, was stationed at Ft. Ritchie, MD, where I met Linda (Labgem). We were married on Feb. 20, 1971. Upon leaving the Army we moved to the state of Michigan and one and half years later, had our wonderful daughter whom we named Michelle. In December 1974 we decided to move to Johnstown, Pennsylvania to find work. It took awhile but in June of 1975 I was hired at Penelec (Pennsylvania Electric Company), which is now known as GPU Energy. After many re-organizings with the company, I was offered a job with them in Reading, PA. Which is where we reside at the present time. Our daughter Michelle married Sam in May 1996, and presented us with a grandson Samuel Jr. on Feb. 24, 1998. Whom we love to spoil every chance we get, as is the job of grandparents. Labgem - I would like to say a couple of words now, but will try to keep it short. HA HA which is hard for me to do. Born in Farwell, Michigan on May 23, 1951 (which now makes me 50 years old in the year 2001). In my opinion this is quite a milestone. Sorry, I got off the track. I had 4 brothers, (2 older, 2 younger). The youngest brother, Eric passed away due to cancer in 1993 at the age of 39. On completing high school, I went into the Womens Army Corp where I served 2 years at Ft. Ritchie, MD. As you already know, I met and married Frankie. I have held down many jobs, one of which was being a Girl Scout Leader for 10 years. I am presently working as a temp at GPU until the new merger takes affect. I'll finish about me and get back to we. (Like how I try to rhyme?) LOL Whenever time and money permits, we love to travel. After we retire, our plans are to travel and visit this beautiful country of ours. As well as meeting our many internet friends around the globe. To date, our travels have taken us to: Tahquamenon Falls, Michigan Soo Locks in Sault Ste. Marie, Michigan Macinaw Island, Michigan Sault Ste. Marie, Canada Rockport, Massachusetts Boston, Massachusetts Providence, Rhode Island New York City - Manhattan Washington, DC Baltimore, Maryland Harpers Ferry, West Virginia Pocono's Atlantic City, NJ As you can see our travels have taken us to the Eastern states. We are greatly looking forward to traveling and exploring the westcoast. Our belief is: "A stranger is a friend we haven't met yet." so we are hoping to make many more friends as we go.
