J. died 15 October 1944 in Waynesville, Haywood County, North Carolina, at 67 years of age. His body was interred 17 October 1944 in Green Hill Cemetery Waynesville, Haywood Co., NC.

He married Lillian "Lillie" Goodson in Haywood County, North Carolina, 12 December 1901. Lillian was born in Haywood County, North Carolina 15 August 1883. Lillian died 7 March 1943 in Waynesville, Haywood County, North Carolina, at 59 years of age. Her body was interred 9 March 1943 in Green Hill Cemetery Waynesville, Haywood Co., NC.

Occupation: Furniture Worker.
