Keystone Canyon is an obvious featrue along the Richardson Highyway. It is approximatley 15 miles from the city center. There are few routes in the canyon and rock quality is fair to poor. The best rock is not readly accesible during the summer months because of the river which runs through the bottom of the canyon.
"Unamed Route" 5.10b 20m This route is loacted right of the entrance of the old tunnel that is open on the right side of the road as you head out of town. The tunnel is right along side the road after you cross a bridge and is very easy to find. This route may have a name but I am not sure what it is. Start in an alcove right of tunnel and up a short hill follow bolt line up and left to main anchor.
Hook Wall Area A few short routes have been done on this wall in the summer utilizing the stablization bolts that hold the slab together. There are no names or grades. This wall is at the end of the canyonon the left side of the road and it quit obvious as it is full of huge D.O.T. bolts.
