Berlin Wall Area
The "Berlin Wall" is a located above "Nicks Happy Valley" at approximatley 29 mile on the Richardson Highway.

As you are heading out of Valdez drive past Worthington Glacier.  The road begins to head up a slight hill, there will be a rock cut and a pull off area on your right.  Park here and head up "Nick's Happy Valley".

There are two approaches to reach to the top of Berlin Wall.  The safest route is to head to the back of "Nick's" to a low pass, then follow a low angle ridge to the summit.

Alternatively you can head up "Nick's" for awhile, then climb out of the valley heading up a steep North facing ridge to the summit.  The alternative route is consdierably steeper and more expsoed but is an excellent way to reach the summit.

Once on the summit you can either window shop for a chute back into "Nick's" or drop off the North Face into "Snatch".  Angles range from mid 30's to low 50's depending on the descent line.
At the back of Nick's happy valley head to a pass, gain the ridge and then follow it to your line.
Alternativly after travleing 1/3 of the way up Nick's head up the direct North Ridge.  The valley below the summit is "Snatch".  "Nick's" is the next valley to the left and out of the frame.
Drop in on one of the ramps or grab the big shadowed face and ski into "Snatch"
