would be great for him to learn a less black-and-white view of life -- that
he's not above these people, that's he's not just
the hero, that they're not just the villains, but we're all human beings. He had to learn that he himself might have
some sin within him and that other human beings -- the ones he calls the

spiritual themes. I AM THE BIBLE I am a library of 66 books. I am the world's bestseller. I am more than a mere book.
I am a force that overpowers opposing systems of thought. I am the rock upon which civil liberties and social freedom rest. I answer the question: Who and where is God? I was written by minds saturated with consciousness of God. I am published in more languages and dialects than any other
book that has ever been written. I am cherished by millions of people as being the only
concretely available and infallible rule of faith and practice. I am the Word of God as set forth by inspired prophet, law-giver,
genealogist, priest, historian, poet, essayist, story-writer, moralist, seer,
and theologian. I set forth the way of life that leads to abundance and
satisfaction of experience. I tell the story of the great drama of redemption. I inspire devotion to truth and purity of life purpose. Norman Richardson RARE, SACRED TEXTS ON DISPLAY IN Some of the

going to God, the Father, the Maker of the Universe. The One who holds the world in His hands. What did you ask for? Did you ask for peanuts, toys, trinkets, or
did you ask for continents? I want to

mighty things that thou knowest not.'"

answers given by 2nd grade school children to the following questions: Why did God
make mothers? 1. She's the
only one who knows where the scotch tape is. 2. Mostly to
clean the house. 3. To help us
out of there when we were getting born. How did God
make mothers? 1. He used
dirt, just like for the rest of us. 2. Magic plus
super powers and a lot of stirring 3. God made
my mom just the same like he made me. He
just used bigger parts. What
ingredients are mothers made of? 1. God makes
mothers out of clouds and angel hair and everything nice in the world and one
dab of mean. 2. They had
to get their start from men's bones. Then
they mostly use string, I think. Why did God
give you your mother and not some other mom? 1. We're
related 2. God knew
she likes me a lot more than other people's moms like me. What kind of
little girl was your mom? 1. My mom has
always been my mom and none of that other stuff. 2. I don't
know because I wasn't there, but my guess would be pretty bossy. 3. They say
she used to be nice. What did Mom
need to know about Dad before she married him? 1. His last
name. 2. She had to
know his background. Like is he a
crook? Does he get drunk on beer? 3. Does he
make at least $800 a year? Did he say
NO to drugs and YES to chores? Why did your
mom marry your dad? 1. My dad
makes the best spaghetti in the world.
And my mom eats a lot. 2. She got
too old to do anything else with him. 3. My grandma
says that mom didn't have her thinking cap on. Who's the
boss at your house? 1. Mom
doesn't want to be boss, but she has to because dad's such a goof ball. 2. Mom. You can tell by room inspection. She sees the stuff under the bed. 3. I guess
Mom is, but only because she has a lot more to do than Dad. What's the
difference between moms & dads? 1. Moms works
at work and works at home & dads just go to work at work. 2. Moms know
how to talk to teachers without scaring them. 3. Dads are
taller & stronger, but moms have all the real power 'cause that's who you
got to ask if you want to sleep over at your friend's. 4. Moms have
magic; they make you feel better without medicine. What does
your mom do in her spare time? 1. My mom
says she don't do spare time. 2. Nothing. She pays bills all day long. What would it
take to make your mom perfect? 1. On the
inside she's already perfect. Outside,
I think some kind of plastic surgery. 2. Diet. You know her hair. I'd diet, maybe blue. If you could
change one thing about your Mom, what would it be? 1. She has
this weird thing about me keeping my room clean. I'd get rid of that. 2. I'd make
my Mom smarter. Then she would know it
was my sister who did it and not me. 3. I would
like for her to get rid of those invisible eyes on the back of her head. SECURITY SUPER GUIDE Unless you

as we judge ourselves by human comparisons, there is plenty of room for self-satisfaction,
and self-satisfaction kills faith, for faith is born of the sense of need. But when we compare ourselves with Jesus
Christ, and through Him, with God, we are humbled to the dust, and then faith
is born, for there is nothing left to do but to trust to the mercy of God." William Barclay (1907-1978), The Gospel of

W. Adams, 2001 Music: ST. COLUMBA,
ancient Irish melody The Bible is
a brilliant lamp, Given to
light up our way, To show our
feet the way to tread, To turn
darkness into day. To teach to
us the Father's love, And the Evil
One's cruel hate, To show the
path round many snares, The way to
the pearly gate. Given to all
who truly seek, For wisdom,
meaning and love, Instruction
in life's mysteries, The way to
Heaven above. And once you
grasp the lamp, do not Hoard that
brilliant, precious light, But share
with all the radiant beam, And watch it
conquer the night. >from

GOD FAQ Question 124: Who are meant by father and
mother in the fifth commandment? Answer: By father and mother, in the
fifth commandment, are meant, not only natural parents, but all superiors in
age and gifts; and especially such as, by God's ordinance, are over us in
place of authority, whether in family, church, or commonwealth. http://www.shortercatechism.com/
ON PRAYER "Let the first rule of right prayer
then be, to have our heart and mind framed as becomes those who are entering
into converse with God. This we shall
accomplish in regard to the mind, if, laying aside carnal thoughts and cares
which might interfere with the direct and pure contemplation of God, it not
only be wholly intent on prayer, but also, as far as possible, be borne and
raised above itself. I do not here
insist on a mind so disengaged as to feel none of the gnawings
of anxiety; on the contrary, it is by much anxiety that the fervor of prayer
is inflamed. Thus we see that the holy
servants of God betray great anguish, not to say solicitude, when they cause
the voice of complaint to ascend to the Lord from the deep abyss and the jaws
of death." John Calvin, Reformer,
