I did extensive SqlServer db updates, stored procedures, administration etc. This was in support of their Loan origination software. May 2004 until December 2004 As a Consultant to Medco Health Solutions, was involved in development of a speciality pharmacy application,this app is used nationwide at various sites by means of Citrix servers. I did extensive Oracle updates with SQL Plus,toad and Stored procedures, triggers etc. May 2003 until Present As a Consultant to Swiss Re, was involved in providing legacy support for a reinsurance system written in Centura with an Oracle backend. The system, TAS, Treaty Administrative System, is used nationwide and internationally. It provides vital insurance information for all of Swiss Re clients. We converted TAS to a common code version which matches the database reference table codes across all the different IT platforms internationally. Did extensive Oracle updates with SQL Plus and Stored procedures. January 2001 until May 2003 As a Consultant to CT Corporation, was involved in development of an online educational delivery system called Learn@CT. Learn@CT used Docent Enterprise System to deliver Legal and Paralegal courses to various companies which aided in their employee certifications. Docent is a web based product which incorporates HTML, Javascript and ASP, as well as its own Javascript mixture for client and server side platform. Course and student information is retained in MS Sqlserver. June 1997 to December 2000 Developed R2000, a remote Java based Internet University Student Registration System as part of joint development effort with Freedom Technologies Inc. The R2000 Student Registration System is part of a suite of programs designed by Bowers Computer Associates aimed at helping academic institutions use the Internet to provide better service to their students and remain competitive. The goal of Internet registration is to allow students to register from the convenience of their own homes or from designated registration sites. As a Consultant to Reader's Digest Association, was involved with the maintenance and enhancements of the Books and Home Entertainment System, Purchase Order System and Production Plans. I maintained web centric based quotation systems for suppliers and client server systems for promotion planning. Programming languages used Centura (SqlWindows 32), Access, Java and Transact SQL. September 1995 to May 1997 As a Consultant to Merck-Medco Managed Care, was a developer of the Service Delivery System. SDS is a sophisticated multi-platform Client/Server, Gupta SQL Windows based Customer Service System in support of Medco?s pharmacy benefits management business. Combining PC-based workstations and advanced computer telephony, this system accesses patient eligibility and pharmaceutical data for Call Center representatives as part of a blended inbound/outbound-calling platform. The database engine component is mainframe files accessed via Dec Message Queue and Sybase SQLServer. In addition, developed Visual Basic Call Guides for a Computer Telephony Integration platform in support of outbound calling marketing programs. Developed a platform wide automated monitoring and auditing tool used by the Network Control Center in support of the inbound/outbound Fax component of SDS. November 1994 to August 1995: As a Consultant to Consolidated Edison, designed and coded a Client/Server system to replace the existing IMS based Engineering Project Management Information System for Con Edison?s Central Engineering Department. This system uses MS SQL Server DBMS and Visual Basic for its front end. Designed and implemented the systems Database and the Visual Basic User Interface. August 1992 to November 1994: As a Consultant to Avon wrote numerous client/Server programs for the Human Resources Department. These programs were developed using an SQL Windows front end and an SQL Server DBMS. This was part of the HR 2000 project. Maintained and developed Category, Bias Trending, marketing analysis reports written in Ramis/SBX. Data resided on the Mainframe and data was accessed via the Ramis/DB2 interface. These reports assisted users in analysis of product trends and usage. May 1982 to August 1994: As a Senior System Analyst at Consolidated Edison played a key role in the implementation of Client/Server based Central Operations Information Network by converting several gigabytes of data from the corporate IMS systems to a newly developed DB2 environment. Wrote applications in Gupta SQL Windows, Power Builder and Objectview to retrieve the DB2 based information in support of numerous user groups throughout the organization. Developed various applications using Gupta SQL Windows as a front end for DB2 and SQLBase systems. These applications provided a Graphical User Interface for Work Process and Control, Budget and Accounting, and Text Documents based corporate systems. Development included integration of Hllapi functions called from Gupta SQL Windows via DLLs. Designed and coded Personnel Training and Qualification System for the Training Department at Con Edison's Indian Point Station using Ramis/SBX. Designed and coded an Engineering Modification Tracking System for the Technical Engineering Department at Indian Point Station. System development was done using Ramis/SBX. May 1980 to May 1982: As an Electronics Technician Nuclear Field for the United States Navy was responsible for the troubleshooting and repairing of sophisticated naval communications and radar equipment. Received an Honorable Discharge from the Navy.
