Mark Grey, a struggling actor who also lives on Willow Street and his lover, Paul Green, a lawyer, have been living apart for the past two years. At Paul�s request, Mark is faced with the reality of coming out to his parents so that he and Paul can finally marry, before Paul�s terminal mother dies. Now Mark must choose between losing the love of his parents or that of his lover. After a chance meeting, Stacy and Mark become friends. She confesses her frustrations with Ian�s lack of commitment to their marriage. Mark�s fear of admitting he�s gay keeps him from confiding in Stacy, at first. Until Paul arrives in Brooklyn, forcing Mark to tell Stacy the truth about their relationship. It isn�t until Stacy and Mark point out each other�s flaws that they finally accept their share of the blame in their own troubled relationships. To try and better the situation, Mark surprises Paul with an engagement ring, while Stacy allows Ian to postpone their anniversary plans in order to tend to important matters at work. But when Ian�s job continues to take precedent, Angel appears at the subway stop one Tuesday morning as Stacy passes by. Something about Angel compels Stacy to help.
