Response to Attorney Steiber
Dear Mr. Steiber:
We were pleased to receive a letter of concern from your law firm. The Criterion has learned both the conference and New Canaan High School were willing to reschedule the game, but Central did not have an open date. As a gesture of sportsmanship Central decided to accept a forfeit of the game so that New Canaan's chances for a State Championship bid would not be hindered. Thank you for caring about Central High School even after sixty years. We're very proud of you and your partner.
