Why should I care

when no one's ever there for me

speak volumes about humanity

I'm so desensitized

living in the city, dealing with realities

"Born alone, die alone"

There's something that strikes me a being wrong

Governments, they do not see

Lone soldiers, that's what they've made us to be

Fighting just for survival

Rules made for those to already have

Too many down on their knees

Beggin' others "please", but they get the other cheek
