Rainy Daze

　

The days run circles spinning my head

past the pressure point of stress and duress

Try to keep my mind from falling behind

I need some time from the daily grind

 

Try to stay with the written agenda

but destiny has its own, I surrender

The way we want it, things don’t always go

Gotta go with the flow, that’s the way of the Lord

 

Sometimes life gets a little bit crazy

Sometimes I feel just a little bit lazy

Sometimes visions get a little bit hazy

It’s better to make things slow on those rainy daze

 

Our human nature wants more all the time

There’s days we gain, then we just fall behind

Sometimes you need to take a few steps back

To take a huge leap ahead of the pack

 

Trying days, I can’t get things to go right

Those are days I just can’t put up with the fight

But there are times you should give in and take it

Gotta go with the flow, that’s the way of the Load
