FORMULA ONE DISCUSSION BOARDS Places to share your love of F1 with others Atlas F1 - An excellent board on which I spend most of my Internet time. Readers Comments does frequently descend into juvenile Ferrari v McLaren mudslinging, but The Paddock Club is recommended, and The Nostalgia Forum is second to none as a source of knowledge about motorsports history (no question is too obscure for these guys!) Highly recommended. 10 Tenths - A much quieter board, but this perhaps helps to keep out some of the more undesirable elements. Strong on non-F1 categories. Daily F1 - Some prefer this to Atlas, but it contains too many flamebaiters for my liking. It does, however, have discussion fora in languages other than English. Linksheaven F1 forum - Not massively busy.
F1 NEWS SITES places which provide up-to-date F1 news Atlas F1 - a good site with plenty of stories appearing quickly every day. Also contains plenty of articles on current races, technical aspects and nostalgia. Autosport - probably the best site. News every day plus interviews with drivers and articles from famous F1 journalists. Includes a chance to ask Nigel Roebuck motorsport questions. Autorace - not a bad site. Colourful with a couple of articles a day on average. Daily F1 - does exactly what it says on the tin. Also available in Finnish, French, German, Spanish and Swedish. Formula 1.co.uk - regularly updated with plenty of pics to keep you happy F1 Web - nice site, but a bit advert-laden and slow-loading for those on slower connections Digital F1 - not a very professional looking site. A bit like what this one would look lke if it did F1 news! ITV F1 - website of the UK's F1 carrying TV channel. Contains news often not found elsewhere. BBC F1 - the Beeb are still covering F1 however, and they often have RealPlayer audio/video clips here f1grandprixracing - news that's fairly up to date, but I feel the layout is a bit of a mess F1 World - not updated very often ,and the tiny text doesn't exactly inspire you to read the articles GaleForce F1 - a reasonable alternative but surely they could make it look a little more professional?
DRIVERS (CURRENT) Jean Alesi - a very impressive unofficial site in French with updated news, chat and discussion forum Fernando Alonso - official site, only in Spanish at the moment, but an English version is promised. At the time of writing, largely under construction. Luca Badoer - surprisingly enthusiastic fansite. Rubens Barrichello - official site, eventually you get to an option where you can change it from Portugese to English. Bit overly flash. Enrique Bernoldi - official site - frequent news updates and a pretty dull bio. His favourite singer is Alanis Morrisette, apparently. Luciano Burti - official site that is pretty slow, but at least its up to date David Coulthard - lots of outdated sites out there, but this one is right up-to-date and pretty good, actually. Michael Schumacher - official site, in German Michael Schumacher - unofficial site, in English
