You guys wont find much stuff here beside the random stuff I needed to put on the internet at one point or another, but if you like rummaging thru a bunch of random stuff, by all means, go ahead !

Random Ultima V -- Warriors of Destiny pictures:

After playing Lazarus (Ultima V remake) for a few days, I found out that when your characters leveled-up, they didn't gain any statistic points.  I felt as thought this was an
important enough "leftout" so I posted on their Official forum.  One of the developper of the game simply didnt beleive me, so I took screenshots of the whole process thru my AtariST emulator.  This picture is taken just before "Mariah" levels-up.

After a few resting sessions, Lord British decided to show up, leveling Mariah up, and as I expected proceeded into making her stronger.  Of course, "Thou art now level 5, and stronger!" could've meant anything, so thats why the picture above, this one, and the next one.

Examining Mariah again, we indeed found out she became stronger after her level.  Thus I saved these files here, and proceeded into making a post on Lazarus, to further value my point.  Unfortunately, the U5:L team decided against re-implementing this "classic feature".  it's no big loss, but that makes chosing companion less strategic and more wysiwyg (what you see is what you get).

On another post later, someone was making a point how the Shadowlords, Ultima V's ultimate villains, sucked and where easily dispatched without much of a challenge (to which I agreed).  Some people never played the original, so I took a few Screenies for them, which game something like this.  Even their "ShadowRealm" was hardcore.  it divided your party !:

The fight begins.  I was certain however I would *not* survive the encounter, missing Lord British's Crown, and lacking serious training.  As we can see, the party is split up, and the shadowlord is safe in the middle.  During the combat he can (at will): confuse, poison, teleport, throw spells... and moves about 2½ times the speed of my regular party member (the strongest ones).  An epic fight indeed !

As I tought, and on top of it, I didnt even scratch the ShadowLord.  Nice demonstration indeed for Lazarus' forum.   The project manager "Tiberius" was the one that said (I think) that in patch version 1.2 of this nice remake, there was going to be some serious balancing adjustments.  I can't wait.  It dosent feel right to kill them shadowlords left and right, not even breaking a sweat.

On a later date (2006 - 01 - 19), some fella said he never heard the original "Keep" fanfare from Ulima V.
So I uploaded it for him : Fanfare_For_The_Virtues.mid
