Personal Franco Bulaon was born on May 30 and grew up in Queens New York. He is the youngest of 4 siblings. His parents are Maria Antonieta Balbas and Fernando V. Bulaon. He has two sisters, Fannie and Faye, who are twins, and an older brother, Fernando. Education Brooklyn Tech H.S and Bard College. At one of the top High schools in NYC, Franco majored in Biology and took lots of advanced placement courses in math and science. It was during his High school days that Franco realized that he didn't want to become a doctor or a rocket scientist. He spent most of his class time honing his magic tricks to students and impressing teachers who gave him good grades for them. With an interest in the arts as well as performing, Franco attended the prestigous Bard College and graduated in 2003 with a B.A. in Theatre. Interests Baseball, entertainment, sensitivity, shows, movies Interesting facts Worked out 5 days a week during his production of The Ramayana in order to stay fit and be very physical for his role as Jatayu. The epic production was "truly an enriching and rewarding experience", which took months to prepare and ran almost 3 hours length. Devoted his senior year at Bard with the study of the Stanislavsky method of acting, believing that true actors don't just act but become. "The method made me look closer into myself, my desires, experiences, and way of thinking. Knowing yourself is key and the characters you play are always going to be extensions of yourself". His first audition out of College was the independent horror movie The Demon Shells. "I walked into the room and the first thing they tell me is 'take off your shirt', it was weird, so I took off my shirt, didn't say one word, and ended up getting a part...it was the strangest thing ever" He later dropped out of the project due to scheduling conflicts. His film The Goat was based on his own experiences on the Bard Basketball team. "It was such a good and bad experience for me, might as well poke fun at it".
