Jurassic Park: The Missing Scene

<< Even though it may look like it actually is, this is not true,
for it was a project for one of my classes. Since it is not too
bad, I decided to put it here. No other intentions besides
geting an "A" on this paper where made. Luck has it, I didn't
get the "A". Oh, well... >>

This short scene is supposed to be sometime between the arrival
of the guests to the island. This scene explains the storm coming
and why there are not any workers on the island anymore once the
guests arrive. The scene really focuses more on the role of the
computer wizard and his stealing of the dinosaurs embryos. On
the original version, as we know, his role was not so important.
Here you can also learn about the "bad guys" that bribe the
computer wizard to sabotage the computer system on the island.
This renders the whole park useless and makes their future park,
one with a much better future for them.

Murray kept on looking at the map with an amazed face. "I
cant believe this," he thought. "How could anybody design a
tunnel system like this?"
Murray was right. That map showed a labyrinth, a maze of
tunnels of all sorts going to all kind of places. With all those
scientific names instead of understandable ones, how was one
supposed to know where to go? But he was no scientist. He barely
finished high school. Poor Murray, he was completely lost and
time was running out.
"Darn! Darn! Darn!" Now he was completely mad. He
kept walking, just the same, hoping he would find a sign that was
written in plain English, like "friendly dinosaurs, this way." The
tunnels were kind of dark, enough to make a person be aware of
his or her surroundings. He was a tough guy, though. Maybe not
very knowledgeable of the riches of that park, but of his
profession. He wouldnt give up, much less after spending two
days in that rotten place. At last luck struck him, he thought.
A maintenance worker was walking toward him from a two tunnel
junction. This man seemed the typical cowboy with the
hat and the boots, even though he was wearing a jumpsuit. His
white skin didnt contrast at all with the blond beard and hair
coming out of the hat.
"Excuse me. Maybe you could help me," said Murray.
     "Shoot," said the worker.
Murray made a small jump before realizing he couldnt know
of his profession. Nobody knew he was not an electrician, but a
hired spy to retrieve blood samples of the dinosaurs. His usual
work was as an assassin, but due to the money offered
($2,500,000), he said yes to that unusual and odd work. He would
get to shoot, but a special weapon with a syringe that retrieved
blood instead of a plain bullet. He looked out of place with his
clean and neat beard and perfect hair. His green eyes contrasted
with his dark skin, much more in that dark light.
"Uhm... Im looking for the tunnel that takes to the
herbivorous dinosaurs," said Murray trying to sound knowledgeable
and remembering what his employers told him to do.
"Arent you in luck! I just come from there!," said the man
all happy. He pointed back at the tunnel he was just leaving and
then said "Just follow this tunnel straight and, at the last
intersection, make a left. That's the main subterranean entrance
to where you wanna go."
"Thanks a lot!," said Murray all happy.
The worker looked at Murray to see that it said "electrical"
on his jacket. "Some repair?"
"Uh...Yeah. There is a junction box that was wired the wrong
way over there."
"It figures... Nobody has a clue in this place!"
    "Yeah... ha, ha, ha."
"Well, good luck," said the man seeing that Murray seemed to
 be in a hurry.
Murray didnt say anything and just kept on walking toward
the tunnel.
Another man came by the tunnel and, seeing the worker leaving
the tunnel to enter the junction, yelled at him "Hey, Robert!
Have you finished already?"
"Yeah, man. I just come from there!"
"Wait just a second. You just come from there?," said what
seemed to be his supervisor. "You just gave the Tyrannosaurus Rex
the goat full of the tranquilizer?"
"No," answered the man a little insulted. "I did that half
an hour ago. I just gave a ton of fruit to the herbivorous couple
on the isolation area."
"I just dont think so," said the supervisor in an ironic
way.
     "Why not?"
"OK. Herbivorous that way," said the supervisor pointing at
the tunnel the opposite way. "Carnivorous this way," said again
pointing at the tunnel Robert just got out of.
"OK, lets see... What is wrong with that?," asked Robert
with a puzzled face.
"Hello?" The supervisor couldnt believe it. "After three
months in here you still dont know which one is which one?
Herbivorous are the vegetarian ones, carnivorous the ones that
eat meat!"
"Ahhhh...," said Robert all amazed. "Anyways, we are leaving
today, so who cares?"
"You were supposed to give the goat that you gave all those
pills with tranquilizer to the tyrannosaurus Rex to avoid any
problems with the guests arriving today. And now youll have to
do it again."
"I dont think so, man. There are no more tranquilizers and
our ship is leaving in an hour."
" The next ship with supplies will come tomorrow afternoon,"
said the supervisor.
"Well, aint no way in hell Im spending another day in this
place. Nuh, uh! Besides theres all them fences and stuff to keep
the animal from doing anything."
"Yeah, I guess you are right... Lets go," said the
supervisor. They both walked toward the golf cart he had. Then went on
their way toward the temporary living area they had had for those
months, packed everything, and left.

Murray kept on walking up the stairs. He had a bad feeling,
but he was tired of being on the island and wanted to leave
already, so he kept on walking. He opened the gate with the
master key he copied and entered the combination on the keypad to
avoid the alarm going off. Once outside he was happy to have left
the dark tunnels. It was a sunny day and he enjoyed every
second of the sun rays on his face.
He walked slowly, not to scare any animal. He then saw a
relatively small dinosaur and pointed his special gun toward it.
He shot it and the animal, once it fell the small sharp object
enter his skin and suck the blood, started running. Thanks to the
thin cord attached to the syringe, Murray was able to recover it
once it had filled with blood. He put the small syringe on the
small freezer of his backpack and kept on going. He only needed
a few samples, so there was no need to be greedy. That lasted for
about one hour and a half. His backpack by now was beginning to
be full. Even though those were small syringes, from being tired
he felt the backpack was a lot heavier that what it really was.
He saw then the last animal he would try to get blood from.
It was a big dinosaur with a big mouth and that walked on two
feet. He felt that for eating plants only, that dinosaur in
particular seemed specially threatening. Little Murray knew that
he was looking at the Tyrannosaurus Rex Jurassic Park was so
proud of having. He approached the dinosaur with his regular
caution, walking all the way toward the back of the animal. Once
there he pointed the gun, made sure it was a sure shot and shot.
The animal reacted immediately turning his back in a second.
Murray, to be on the safe side, hid behind a tree. But it was too
late, the dinosaur had already seen the movement. With those
giant steps, the dinosaur went around the tree, to find Murray
hidden on the other side confident that the animal wouldnt hurt
him.
The Tyrannosaurus Rex approached its face to make that
horrible and loud noise. Murray didnt think for a second that
that was a friendly and harmless animal, so, he started running
with all his might. But that was not much compared with the power
of the Tyrannosaurus Rex. In no time the dinosaur closed on him.
Murray threw himself into the ground to hide under a huge rock
that had a small hole underneath, big enough for him to hide.
Murray felt his heart go at a thousand beats per minute. He
was safe now. Or was he? What was that hissing noise coming from
under him? Murray took the flashlight from his pocket and pointed
it at the hissing noise. A medium size snake appeared from the
dark, with its mouth open and showing those horrendous sharp
teeth. Murray jumped to knock himself on the head with the rock
just on top. Once unconscious the snake bit him a couple of
times. After the apparent death, the snake felt no more curiosity
for him and left the protection of the rock to try and hunt
something of a smaller and more digestible size.
Murray awoke fifteen minutes later all dozed off. Half
unconscious he crawled out of the rock. He could barely move his
legs, so he dragged himself with his arms not seeing were he was
going since his vision was all blurred. He made it a few meters
only to find a big hole on the ground. It was the imprint of one
of the paw from the Tyrannosaurus Rex. That was a really big
imprint and it scared the hell out of Murray. But that was
nothing. Once it fell that slow breathing on his neck he felt his
heart go fast again. It was the Tyrannosaurus Rex again,
breathing less that a foot away from his neck! With that horrible
sound Murray had heard once before, the dinosaur distanced itself
from Murray for a second, to come back with the fury of a train.
With a couple of bites Murray found himself on the inside of the
dinosaur. That was the last anybody heard of him.

A man entered in the office were the two old men were
waiting. The office was huge and dark. Both brothers were siting
side by side on a desk made of black marble, as cold as their
souls. The man had bad news: No news from the spy they had sent
as they where supposed to. The two men looked puzzled. They were
in their seventies so they didnt like waiting or hoping for the
best. Time was money, and for them money was life. They
wanted immediate results or else. They were twin brothers and
understood each other perfectly well, for something they had been
successful in the entertaining business for so long.
"Looks like your plan didnt work," said the one on the
right.
"Well have to use yours then," answered the other.
"There is still the chance he may contact us latter on, but I
wouldnt hold my breath..."
"All right, all right! I said we will use your plan! What
more do you want?" The old man was obviously mad.
"We can forget the million dollar deposit we gave him,
then..."
Now is when the other man understood where he was going.
"OK, well offer your guy one million less, to compensate for the
one lost. This way, if he accomplishes the work we will have
spent the same amount we already agreed to spend." Now both
brothers were talking money. They were both the same, old and
greedy. " Lets hope an inside work works better than an outside
one."
"Dodgson," said the brother on the left. "come here for a
second that we have work for you to do."
