She sits alone and cries all day
No one wants to know
I wish that she could find a way
to keep alive that glow
With every day and shattered hope
That glow sinks farther in
One day someone might lend a rope
And her glow will shine again
But no one knows how deep she goes
With every smirk and stare
It eats at her down to her toes
And no one is aware
You see... she can't reveal herself
and I don't know just why
She hides her feelings on a shelf
Her life is one big lie
She laughs and jokes at everything
This hides her sorrow well
Maybe she needs someone to bring
That glow up from her well
But someone better do this fast
Before it falls too deep
The rocks of doubt will fall at last
Her glow in one big heap.
