Internal Serenity

the realms of confusion is upon me

turmoil within the heart

endlessly i weep for

the unknown happiness never gained

as i go lurking beyond minds

through the deeper domains of the world

i search for the cause of chaos

and before me it rises from the midst

loneliness reigns upon my soul

and in every darkness there is light

the flame for the one i love

resistance to the potent cold halted

never before knowing its existence

at hand you cast your shadow

spare my insanity

your noble eyes, the peaceful smile

perfections only you possess

but whatever i see

the softness of the heart

immortalizes me the most

grant me my silence

bless me with the love cried

and the daydreams

shall occupy my heart forever

i stand before you

to hear the words of love

because only you can grant

the serenity of my being.
