Cartoonist

Do not keep me

As a fragment

Of your cartoon dream

For I refuse

To be remembered

In full color

With loony tunes

Too funny

To be believed

Instead

In your cartoon strip

Hide me somewhere

In black and white

Or as empty space

Where lines

Of your ink

Never meet

* I recall writing this poem way back in Senior high school for my friend, Ryan "Manok," because he was fond of making comics with us, his friends, as main characters in them... and I recall not liking them at all (in short, I wasn't humored with the idea of seeing myself in his comic strips) so I wrote this poem for him (he has a copy of this poem and, knowing him, he probably lost it already hehe).
