money is Canadian dollar.

PEOPLE
AND RELIGION:
In
Canada 32.507.874 people live. The 75% of people live on the border between
U.S.A. and Canada primarily in
Québec and in Ontario. The biggest religious community is Catholic.
LANGUAGES:
Canada
has got two national languages – English and French. The French-speaking
people mainly live in Quebec. Many French and English Canadian still practise
the tradition from their original countries. Inuit people have their original
countries. Inuit people have their own languages.
INUITS:
Inuits
are some of the original people of Canada. They live in cold artic regions in
the north. It’s traditional for Inuits to hunt for whales, seals and fish.
They use these animals for food, clothes, boats and houses for the winter igloos
from stone or wood. When Inuits go on long journeys in the winter, they make
snow igloos.

ANIMALS:
The most famous Canadian animals are mooses. Mooses are big animals. They are often over two metres tall and their antlers can grow up to 1.5 meters long. They usually live near mountains or in forest. Canada also has polar bears. In some cities, near Hudson bay polar bears walk into town. The polar bear police have to catch them and take them back to the bay.




NIAGARA
FALLS:
Niagara
falls are on the border between the U.S.A. and Canada, but the highest
waterfalls are in Canada. The Canadian part of Niagara falls is 790 meters long
and 49 metres high –5.5 million litres of water goes through the waterfalls
every second. Canadians make a lot of electricity from water.
