Susie
Lougheed married Joe Madden. He was a wild handsome charming young
man, extrovert in every way. She was a quiet sweet young woman,
strong in her faith, tolerant, loving and kind. They were married
over 40 years when Susie passed away. Joe lived two years longer.
Opposites in almost every way, they depended on each other for
the balance needed in both their lives. They passed much along
to us, including, Faith, courage, patience, humour, charm, an
ability to make the most of things, to get on with life when times
were hard and to enjoy everything when life was good.
My name
is Frances Madden, I lived in Greece for 9 years, then in Haifa, Israel for nearly nine years, where I managed
the hospitality programme for incoming Pilgrims at the Baha'i
World Center.
I had a furry four-footed feline sharing my apartment, shedding
hairs all over everything, and giving me lots of joy. I have since returned to Ireland, to Dublin, where I assist at the National Bah' Center. I love travelling, and have visited
most of Europe, some of the mid-east and the United States, as well as Ghana and Ethiopia. I love computers and recently, I upgraded my original iMac to a G4, in the face of fervent opposition from my Windows oriented friends. My brother
Pat has lived in Ireland all his life. He married when he was
25 and has produced four great kids. Lisa, Catherine, Susie. and
Patrick Junior. Pat is very like my father, charming with a great
sense of humour. He enjoys sports, and DIY. Being able to doing
anything with his hands. He re-assembles all the things my brother
Bill takes apart The only sad thing is, he doesn't think much
of computers.
My brother Bill is tall
dark handsome. patient, calm and loving. He likes thinking about
things, and taking things apart to see how
they work. Sometimes he can put them back together again.
He has three children, Stephen, Carol and Ruairi. He is also obsessed
with computers.
