Walking beside him, I take his hand and entwine our fingers. It has taken us forever to get here; able to walk side by side with no fear of being torn apart.
I used to think it was impossible. That we would never find a way to be happy together. There was always too much happening in our lives; things got in the way.
But we�re here now, together. And nothing will take that away from us.
�Just that we�re finally here, together.�
And we are. Because our love lives on.
