| Vampires have terrified the human race since the beginning of history. Their origins are imbedded in our fear of dying, and the fear of the corruption of the body. But now, they are glorified by literature and film often depicted as heroes. Where they were once terrifyingly evil, they are now thought to be tragic. The creatures that were once percieved as repulsive are now glorified by their beauty. Either way, we are enticed; drawn into the mystery and enchantment. And we shiver with either fear or delight. |
