As you can see, we're still forming this abortion we like to call "Fractured Sanity". We don't have band pics yet.  We don't have a drummer yet.  All we have is a love of music, and enough guts to give this a fair shot.

Some like to say that we have talent.  But "talent" is a word that is often misused.  My aged copy of The World Book Encyclopedia Dictionary defines talent as "a special natural ability".  So, we're not talented.  We weren't born musicians.  We love music, and we love to play, so we pursued our goals.  We set out to learn to play our instruments, and to make a sound that is pleasing to the ears.  In our quest, we felt a need to join up with others on the same quest.

It all started coming together in the late 90's, when Jacson and Geoff started playing together.  Jacson had some weird hybrid guitar that he played through his stereo, and Geoff had a cheap acoustic.  They spent most of their time trying to decide what song to learn.  Then, Geoff bought a bass.  The jamming began.

In the summer of 2001, Jacson came to Geoff with "Dude, I wrote a song!!!"  It wasn't the best song ever.  It was recorded on a 4-track recorder.  He had used a drum track (courtesy of Casio Keyboard) to lay down the beat.  He recorded a rythm track on his hybrid electric, then soloed over it, and sang over that.  He then went back and added a bass line (also courtesy of Casio), and had his song.  Later, he wrote another the same way.,  For about 3 or 4 weeks that summer, Jacson and Geoff jammed the nights away, and managed to write "Leave Me Alone".  In the mean time, Geoff wrote the lyrics to "Tear Down", and passed them off to DJ Wray.  DJ wrote a chord progression, and later showed it to Jacson.  With no hesitation, Jacson said "Record it!".  So, DJ played it into the 4-track.  When he was done, Jacson said "Just sing it, too, so we know where you're at."  While DJ was singing, Jacson and Geoff discussed bringing DJ into the group, since they wanted another guitarist.    Now, DJ is in the band, and they're just looking for a drummer!
