have to, kissing up
NPC Friends and Family:
Letitica Decor("Delight of Beauty"); Mother: Ritus's mother is a gifted artist
with a gentle spirit and a kind heart. She owns a museum in Sinclair District
and is very popular. She has light brown hair and bright emerald green eyes.
She mostly keeps to herself, far to busy to deal with Ritus. She loves him
dearly, but sometimes Ritus wonders if she really does.
Morsus Decor("Pain of Beauty") Father: Ritus would rather his life not involve
his father...he is a business man, owner of a grand hotel, but also an
undercover mobster. One night, while making a surprise visit to his father's
hotel, Ritus witnessed a group of mobsters totally trashing the place. Ever
since then, Ritus has had a great dislike for his father. Morsus is 6'5" with
sandy blonde hair and bright blue eyes.
Niteo Certus ("To shine undoubted"), best friend, Niteo is a quiet, refined,
cold guy. However, with Ritus all that changed. Ritus, through his charm and
wit, managed to break Niteo's shell at the young age of five. The two have been
inseparable since then. Niteo stands 6'2" with dark brown hair with natural
auburn highlights, and reddish-brown eyes that have a dark outline around them.
Appearance: Ritus stands 6'2" and is rather thin, but not too thin. His eyes are
dark blue and his eyebrows are somewhat thin, as if he's plucked them (which he
hasn't). His face is slightly anguliar. His hair is dark blonde with light
blonde highlights. He keeps it cut rather short, but spiked up in a trendy
fashion. He is very handsome, more with a feminine beauty, than masculine. When
he was younger he was always teased for his girly looks, but now that he's older
it benefits him more. His nose is rather small, and slender, which makes him
look even more feminine. He is always seen with a sexy smile on his face, for no
apparent reason. His best friend Niteo says it makes him look like a male hooker
looking for a job (^^') Ritus has a thick Australian accent, but uses no slang.
His accent is his best feature, of many, and is always a lady pleaser. Ritus can
usually be seen in leather pants and a trendy shirt. He has a fondness for
jewelry and can be seen with leather wristbands and a black string bearing a
small black disc with some sort of emblem for "sorrow".
Personality: Ritus is very presumptuous and a bit egocentric. He can seem
rather harsh, never biting his tongue when his opinion is wanted. Ritus is
very popular, but doesn't have many close friends. He feels that he can trust
very few people since he found out about his father. Ritus is very passionate
about three things; music, his mother, and Niteo. Without them in his life, he
would probably be cold and angry. Ritus believes that life should be led to the
fullest, as if you could never go back. He expresses his deep thoughts in his
music. Mostly, Ritus plays his flute or the piano, but he has a beautiful
voice that his mother wishes he would use. Ritus can be rather loud and
outspoken when he feels comfortable, but if he is around people unfamiliar to
him, he is quiet, before warming up and becoming the center of attention. Ritus'
best friend is Niteo Certus. A very quiet, refined type of guy, with a love of
motorcycles, and a very low tolerance level. Ritus is constantly reminding
Niteo to "lighten up" and have fun. He thinks he's beginning to wear him down,
but who knows?
History:
Ritus' mother and Niteo's mother were best friends in high school and college.
Canto moved on to become the wife of Glorifico Certus, a military official. Letitica
longed for her best friend and not long after married Morsus Decor, a rather
rude man, with a dangerous temper. She soon became a talented artist, and with
the help of her husband, started a very profitable museum. She was very happy
and still remained friends with Canto. Life could not be any better.
On the eve of their third anniversary, Letitcia told her husband that she was
pregnant. Morsus was shocked and thought this was a futile attempt to copy
Canto who gave birth to her second child a mere year before. Letitcia insisted
that she was telling the truth and demanded that Morsus be a good father to
their unborn baby. He reluctantly agreed. The following nine months were
painful, more mentally than physically. But with help of Canto, Letitcia gave
birth to her first child, Ritus. He was the most beautiful child she had seen,
and vowed she would love him forever.
It was fate that brought Ritus and Niteo together. The two spent practically
their entire lives together and never kept anything from eachother. At times
Ritus was jealous of the bond that Niteo and Effor shared, but soon learned
that Niteo was his brother, even if not by blood. He decided he did not want
someone younger than he to grow up with what he dealt with at home. The fights
and arguments that left him crying on Canto's shoulder. Niteo's mother was
worried that Ritus would suffer from depression and become suicidal, so she did
what she could to make him happy. He spent weekends and summers and most other
holidays with the Certus family, which pleased him very much. If it wasn't for
them, he may have run away ages ago.
Canto taught Ritus many things during his childhood. The gift of prayer and
meditation, as well as the art of music. He loved the flute the most and piano
was a close second. When not with Canto and Niteo, Ritus spent countless hours
in deep meditation and practicing his flute. One night after a rough 3 hours of
meditation (his father had come home angry and had a fight with his mother), Ritus
heard a voice. It sounded distant and weak, and even foreign, but Ritus got
the message. He vowed to protect and love everything around him, and he was
blessed with the bracelet of Meditation. He knew Niteo had received the same
power, and asked him what he should do. In front of his best friend, Ritus
became the Knight of Silence & Meditation, Chintia Kamen.
Chintia Kamen, Kamen of Meditation
Senshi Name: Chintia Kamen
Power: Silence/Meditation
Colors: Pale Blue/Pale Yellow
Items: His flute, nicknamed "Dakryo" or "weeping"; his extends to a fighting
staff if he decides it too, it also is the source of his attacks.
Attacks:
"Still Sorrow"; 10% damage to opponents. This attack has a duel effect. On
one hand it can calm an enemy down into a lull, long enough to use a more
powerful attack, the other it stops an enemy completely. This effect usually
only works on weak enemies or when a stronger enemy is not paying attention. Chintia
holds his flute level with his face and a single tear falls down his face. He
then shouts out "Still Sorrow" thrusting a pale blue light at the enemy.
"Irenic Display"; 20% damage. This attack is Chintia's dangerous attack,
being that it does a substantial amount of damage, and because it takes a lot
of energy for him to use. He begins the attack by standing perfectly still
while a yellow light emits from his body. Then, he whispers "Irenic" while
yellow orbs circle his body rabidly. He holds his left hand up first absorbing
the power from the orbs, then his right hand moves behind his left and he
smacks the orb like a volleyball shouting "Display". This attack is nearly
unstoppable because it is so fast.
