Thousand Year Old War

On the Planet known as Zi, mechanical beings known as Zoids are used for both combat and operational uses. For years the planet has seen battles and wars which have left much of the land scarred and damaged. For a thousand years a war has been waged by the Xenos Empire and the Shallow-Cast Nation. At times the war played such a trivial part in human existance that no one was allowed to marry, interact or even acknowledge anyones existance that wasn't on their side. It seemed like the end of not only co-existance with other humans, but the end of free life. No one was prepared for what was soon to come...

Project X

One day in a standard battle between the Xenos Empire and the Shallow-Cast Nation a mysterious Zoid was seen with glowing red eyes coming from the darkness. Both sides were stunned and thought that either side had secretly planned this until the Zoid went off the radar in a burst of speed and tore through both opposing side's zoids like it was nothing. Thousands of soldiers..... gone in minutes. Both the Xenos Empire and the Shallow-Cast Nation had been defeated...but not by each other but by one mysterious Zoid. Both sides had agreed both the Zoid and it's pilot were to dangerous to be kept alive. With this said both sides declared a temporary sieze-fire until they had captured and/or killed the pilot and Zoid. In a ditch effort to corner the Zoid, both nations banned together with thousands of troops and attacked the Zoid. This was the last mistake the soldiers would ever make. The Zoid yet again attacked them as a sandstorm soon roared over the Zoids. Only things such as "It's Here!" and "Help Me!" could be heard as sounds of explosions and cries could be heard. Before the last of the soldiers were killed off a printout was sent back to the Shallow-Cast Nation's Headquarters. The pilot was identified only as "Project X."
