In 1997 I rode from Adelaide to Darwin with Trevor Briggs, to commemorate the first such trip in 1897 by Jerome Murif.

In 2001 I went to Vietnam and China for 3 months, travelling by train, plane, boat, horse, car, bus, foot, and a little by bike (Hoi An in Vietnam). Marvellous experience. See some photos here eventually.
