"Hannah, are you sure, because�"That was all the farther she got before the banging on their front door and each girl was equally terrified. Joy began to sob harder and Hannah could see the pure terror in her eyes.
"Joy, come� 'ere." Hannah took Joys Hand and half pulling half supporting, managed to get Joy into her room. Hannah�s room was the quietest room in the apartment. It was the farthest room away from the main section of the house and the front door. It was almost sound proof. Once she calmed Joy down a bit she called the police and told the operator their location and their situation. She had warned the operator that Kodey was violent and could possibly be armed.
No Sooner had she hung up the phone, the police were knocking at their door. After she had made sure they were who they said they were, she unlocked the door and let them in. They had arrested Kodey and he was on his way to the station with a few other police. The officer's name was Lt. Patterson and he wanted to make sure the girls were all right. Hannah explained all of what had happened that night and then she brought out Joy. Joy retold her story.
"Well Ms. Cardiff. I can assure you that this creep won't be bothering you anymore. I'll make sure that he is locked up! Now, about your wounds, We better get you to the hospital so we can take care of those."
"I appreciate the concern Lt. Paterson, but I just want to get some sleep-" At that moment, the phone rang. Joy picked it up, it was Kodey.
