What is direct linking and why can't i do it?!?!?!?!?!
OK, Direct Linking is when you right click on an image and go to properties to figure out what the site is to directly go to that image. For example:
Then look at address URL. It should say http://www.geocities.com/fraces4ever/mylinky.gif.
That is the link that will tell the browser to link directly to my image. When you take that url, make a code with it, and put it on your site, your direct linking.
Why can't you do this?
YOUR STEALING MY BANDWITH! AND it's illegal! And, you might be in trouble becuase if i figure out that you are direct linking, i can change my image to WHATEVER i want, and it will show up on your page! I have control over it! I can delete it, i can change, i can do WHATEVER!
SO DON"T DO IT!
SO what else can i do instead of Direct Linking?
Well, this is it. You go to an image, (you can test with the one above) then go to save picture as and pick a name for it and save it. You go back to your page and upload it onto your page using whatever program you have! You don't steal, and the image has an address using your page. :D
WHy do i have to link you?
The reason i ask you to link me is becuase if you don't that is also considered stealing. What you are doing is taking things i have worked on and putting them on your site without giving me any credit. If you notice, when you go to my adopted dolls page, i link every single doll to it's rightful owner becuase i know it is wrong to claim things as your own when they aren't.
How come your photos don't work! It's been forever!!!
What does "I need to buy a scanner" mean to you? My photos don't work becuase i need a scanner to scan the photos and then put them on the website.
How come when i go to see your dolls and go to a page, it doesn't say where you made them?? SHouldn't you be linking?
I do link, i just don't do it on every single page becuase that would take up space
and im plain lazy/ But i don't don't link! If you go to my -links- page you will find every single page and doll-maker i might have used to create the dolls!
What happened to your old Dolls page?
I decided to change it becuase the one i had was messy and didn't look nice. Now the one i have is organized and the backgrounds for each doll will change colour to the canvas of your site.
Who are those people in your shout-outs and your friends and family pages????
Probably my friends and family...are you supposed to know them anyways???????!!!!!! I didn't think so!
