These are pictures of the freak flood we had here in New Haven and Bristol. We were gone in Burlington when the rain came so we missed the river that ran down our road. We just BARELY made it up the road 2 hours after the rain stopped!!! What an ordeal. The next day we found out that it had rained 4 inches on our two towns in an hour and a half's time! That's alot of rain! 128 homes were damaged (5 deemed unliveable), roads were closed for days. The morning after, we found out that a bridge we went across, washed out that night.
