Some random shtuff about tha names of some characters in the Zelda games (that I've played and beaten to date)

| Link | His name says it all. In layman's terms, he a friggin "link" to Hyrule and other worlds such as the Dark World (ALttp). Altho, there are many different Links in the entire series. Hey, each one needs to die, right? Hyrulians don't live forever. BEsides, you can even tell that there's multiple Links by looking at each of the game boxes and manuals. For example, LoZ has a Link with brown hair whereas OoT has blonde hair. Gah, getting off topic. As I've mentioned, he is a Link for Hyrule to the Dark world, time (see "Hero of TIme"), and, well, other worlds like Termania, Kohnolit (sp) Island, Labryna, and that other place in that other Zelda game. |
| Hero of Time | This is the most confusing name ever. Well, it's not really a name; it's a title. Anyways, this title was givin to the Linkof OoT after pulling the Master Sword out of the Pedastal of Time. It was then later proved the this Link was actually the Hero of Time after defeating Ganondwarf. The title of "Hero of Time" can refer to three things: that this person saved time itself, saved the time of a certaiin land (Hyrule), or save time in all places. It is most obvious that our OoT Link is the Hero of Hyrule's Time, altho it the Hero of Time Itself can apply, too, to this person. Another thing that this title can mean to our OoT Link is the third choice: saving Time in all places. This can be proved with MM's Link, who happens to be the same as our OoT Link. I believe that the title refers to someone who "saved time itself". Since this certain Link saved time in diferent places, what other choice is there? This Link saved multiple realms, not just one. But, he could not save time in all places, just where he was. All three choices named above can apply to this Link, but none of these choices could be applyed at the same time. |

| Ganon(dwarf) | Well, as the name implaies, erm, actually, I havn't done much research on his name. Actully, you can gues why his first form is named "Ganondwarf. Since "ganon" is his true form, then "Ganondwarf" is his Hylian/ Gerudo form. Wait, he is Geurdo. Whoops. UPDATING |
