A Fuh-Q-Fest is a fanfiction contest with a specific theme, in this case the Dwarves of Middle Earth at any age. Every story has to be written with a Dwarf/"whoever you can think of" pairing or, if the story isn�t centered around a relationship, with a Dwarf as the main character. Everyone who wants to join the Fuh-Q-Fest and write a story has to ask for a challenge which sets the parameters for the story the author has to write. Details can be found under "Get a Challenge or Pairing" on the main page. Every Fuh-Q-Fest also has a deadline (usually around two months after the beginning) in which the stories have to be submitted. If the FQF is successful a second wave can be started after the first one ends, with new and old challenges alike. Note that this is just a short
